The old conservative principle was to help business to better the national economy. Sure they’re a dirty oil company, but their OUR dirty oil company. Cut corporate taxes to support them, subsidies to encourage growth, ease regulations, which in turn benefits us all- like giving the ball to your fastest player. (more…)

Everyone loves having their computer dilemmas resolved by some self righteous prick on a help forum who has nothing better to do with his time than mock your lack of knowledge and assert dominance. Remember a time when you didn’t have to kiss some loser’s ass on a help forum? When resolving your problems meant calling the company and having a self righteous prick on staff walk you through it? All Good Authorities Are Goin’ Totalitarian

I’ve been getting into Twitter lately. Some real stupid comments on there, one guy made the claim that socialism plus time equals totalitarianism. . . .First of all, the two are incompatible; one can only exist at the exhaustion of the fundamentals of the other. Secondly, shit, name me a type of government that isn’t going to lead to totalitarianism with time. Capitalism’s certainly gone that route.
