Yes, i did it. Enough has finally happened to my country to inspire me to participate politically beyond the voting polls, facebook groups and blogging. We all have our breaking point. Mine was an illegitimately elected %39 ‘majority’ government passing multiple freedom killing bills all at once- and telling us daily how they have the mandate of Canadians. (more…)
There seems to be a rebellious buzz springing forth to save us all from imminent poverty. Cool billionaires like Buffet and Gates are on board, stingy billionaires are crying foul. . .When billionaires disagree publicly, its probably because something is too good to be true. (more…)
Conservatives, I am with you. Canada needs a smaller, more efficient government or we’ll all end up as wage slaves to income tax. Socialism centralizes control bringing corruption and tyranny. People dining at the public buffet grow lethargic from lack of incentives and rewards. Psychology has taught us the larger the group of people working together, the less effort each individual will give. Socialism is inefficient because you’ve got everyone pulling the same rope; none of them caring to try. (more…)
Canadian politicians are very predictable. Campaign time, the leaders tell us to fear the potential coalition of party’s that could form among their opponents. Following suit, those opposition leaders will deny any interest whatsoever in coalescing. So to recap: The PM tells us to fear politicians working together, and the politicians he is referring to swear they will not work together. All the leaders have promised not to work together with any of the other leaders. Excellent. Our government is about as cohesive as a preschool soccer team, except they can’t even wear the same coloured shirts!

Reject your ballot, leave it blank. Its going to be more popular in this election than any previous election. Never before have so many people been talking about this option, many websites are dedicated to the cause.
Corporate news labels protesters violent by focusing on rioters. The overwhelming majority of protesters are actually non violent. Love em, hate em, they’re hippies and they’re pacifists- not rioters. Corporate wants the general public to miss the point. As usual, they polarize the issue. They make it seem as though there are only 2 sides to the debate; we in the silent majority can choose between the G20 and the Anarchists.(more…)
